Sometimes being a mom can feel like there are only 4 hours in the day and not 24.
We have a million and one things to do everyday and, if we aren’t careful, things can really get on top of us.
The best way to avoid getting burnt out is to manage your time efficiently.
We all have the same number of hours in the day, whether it feels like it or not, and all that matters is how we manage them.
These are our best time management life hacks for moms, we hope you get something good out of them.
Create Priority Lists

Creating lists is always helpful but to take your lists a step further in helping you with your time management, try creating them in a priority ranking system.
We don’t always get everything done from the to-do lists we make for ourselves and this can add to our feelings of stress. But if we write our lists in a such a way that our top priorities get done first, then it matters a little less if we don’t make it to the bottom of the list by the end of the day.
Usually, we are more productive in the mornings too, so getting our biggest priorities done and out of the way when we are feeling most motivated to do so is a very helpful approach.
If the things at the end of your list don’t get done, you can add them to the top of your list for the next day as a priority.
This helps you manage your time in a much more efficient and streamlined way.
Have a Communal Calendar

You can’t be expected to take on all the activities and tasks that need done in your family household by yourself.
Manage your time by delegating tasks to the other people in the house.
Using a communal calendar or planner that everyone can see in a communal place is a great way to do this.
Everyone can see how much is on everyone else’s plate and tasks can be distributed fairly without one person needing to pick up all of the slack.
If your children are helping you out with some of the work, you can use the communal calendar to put up incentives and rewards for certain things. Keep things happy and motivating and things will get done much faster, I guarantee.
Nail a Great Morning Routine

The start of your day and how it goes is usually the make or break of your entire day.
Manage your time successfully by having an efficient morning routine.
Wake up early, get washed and dressed, have an energising breakfast, and start on your priority list.
If you start your day in a slow and sluggish way, the rest of the day is likely to follow.
Start off strong and let that energy carry on throughout your day.
Cut Down on Scrolling

Scrolling on our phones and tablets is the biggest time wasting activity for most of us.
It is tempting, especially when we have one free moment to ourselves, but it is a rabbit hole.
We start by thinking “just two minutes” and then we end up on our phone for half an hour.
Avoid scrolling as much as you can and you will see a big difference in how much time you have in a day.
